Total score
10/12
Production impact 2/2
Low environmental impact during production
The production of this material requires relatively little energy, water and/or chemicals. Its environmental impact during production is therefore relatively low. This results in a score of 2 points.

bio-based material made from renewable biological resources
This product receives 2 points because it is made from renewable biological resources such as wood, plant fibres, agricultural crops or other renewable biological resources. These resources can regrow and therefore provide an alternative to fossil-based raw materials.
End-of-life route 2/2
Home compostable
This material can be composted at home under suitable conditions, without requiring an industrial composting facility. This makes composting more accessible and less dependent on a specific waste stream. This results in a score of 2 points.
Reuse 1/2
Not specifically intended for reuse, but potentially reusable
Material structure 2/2
Mono-material
This product is made from a single type of material, making it easier to sort and recycle after use. This results in a score of 2 points.
