At Ecolinq, you will find a range of stand up pouches in different sizes featuring a NatureFlex™ barrier layer. NatureFlex™ is a cellulose-based film made from renewable resources. The pouches are food-safe, resealable and certified for home composting.

The stand up pouches feature a sturdy bottom gusset, allowing them to stand upright on shelves. They are also equipped with a zipper closure, tear notches and a heat-sealable top, making them practical to use and ideal for a professional presentation in retail stores, supermarkets and webshops.

Home compostable or industrially compostable?

Home compostable stand up pouches are designed to break down naturally in a home compost environment. Industrially compostable packaging requires higher temperatures, controlled humidity and professional composting facilities. Both types of stand up pouches have their own advantages and applications. Home compostable stand up pouches are only suitable for products with a limited shelf life, but they achieve a higher Ecolinq Environmental Score. For food products that require a longer shelf life, industrially compostable stand up pouches are often the better choice. They provide a higher barrier against moisture and oxygen, although they score lower on the Ecolinq Environmental Score.
